Over the past month, we had the privilege of recognizing departments whose commitment to firefighter safety, innovation, and service stood out during the Ricochet Regional Gear Giveaway supporting Schwarber's Neighborhood Heroes Fund. Each winning department will receive 10 complete PPE packages, including five sets of Ricochet M² Maverick™ Non-PFAS Structural Turnout Gear with Streamlight® Survivor Pivot® USB Lights and five sets of Ricochet Dual-Cert Technical Rescue Gear.

Central Berks Fire Company No. 1
Pennsylvania
Central Berks Fire Company No. 1 shared how new turnout gear will help strengthen firefighter protection while supporting the department's continued commitment to training, operational readiness, and serving its growing community. Their submission reflected a proactive approach to investing in both today's firefighters and the future of the department.
East Greenwich Township Fire & Rescue
New Jersey
One submission left such a lasting impression that we created an additional award. East Greenwich Township Fire & Rescue received five sets of Ricochet M² Maverick™ Non-PFAS Structural Turnout Gear after sharing a compelling vision for protecting firefighters throughout their careers, emphasizing proper fit, improved mobility, reduced fatigue, long-term health, and investing in every member.
